For more than twenty years Amberlight Court has stood on the lake road, just off the the connector road in South Kolkata, near enough to the main road that no one gets lost and far enough in that the street stays quiet. Long enough that the families who married here now bring their children.
Four floors, and a lift to each. The ground and first open onto the road, the second is where the ceremony happens, the third is given over to dining. At full capacity the hall holds five to six hundred people, and every floor is air-conditioned.
Weddings, receptions, annaprashan, birthdays, shraddha, corporate evenings. The hall is yours for the whole day, not a two-hour slot.

The open floors
Both open straight onto the lake road, so the gate, the carpet and the flower arch can run out to meet your guests as they step down from the car. If you would rather hold the ceremony itself in the open, the ground floor becomes the ceremony space.

Second floor
The ceremony floor
Where the mandap or the reception stage goes up. The backdrop changes completely between functions: flowers, sequins, trellis, whatever the day calls for. All of it is built by the hall's own decorators.

Two things worth knowing before you call: parking is on the main road, not inside the building, and alcohol is not allowed on the premises. Everything else, your date and your numbers and the food and the decoration, is settled in one conversation. Call the hall.

The hall's own decorators. The backdrop is built to your design and changes completely between functions, whether that is flowers, sequins or a trellis.
How long do I get the hall for?
The whole day. There is no fixed two hour slot.
Are there changing rooms, and somewhere to keep gifts?
Two changing rooms, and a small locked room to keep gifts and jewellery safe until you are ready to take them home. There is also somewhere for the elders to sit while everything is being carried in.
Can anyone stay the night?
There are rooms upstairs if someone needs to stay. That is charged separately.
