What this website collects

Nothing is collected by this website. There is no login, no newsletter box and no shopping basket. It sets no cookies of its own, it stores nothing in your browser, and it carries no analytics script, tracking pixel or advertising code.

There is one box you can type into, on the appointment section of the home page. Nothing you write there is sent to this website or stored by it. Pressing the button hands what you typed to a WhatsApp web address, which means it reaches WhatsApp’s servers the moment you press it, before you have sent anything to the clinic. It also means what you wrote can appear in your browser history, which is worth knowing if you share the device. If you would rather none of that happened, telephone the clinic instead on +91 00000 00000.

There is no analytics script, no tracking pixel and no advertising code on any page.

The one request the page makes elsewhere

Page text is displayed in a typeface called Figtree, which is stored in this site's own folder and served from this address. It used to be fetched from Google Fonts on every visit, which quietly announced every reader to Google before they had read a word; that was changed on 30 August 2026, and no font provider is contacted now.

The visit section embeds a Google map. Google is a separate company: loading its map lets Google see your IP address and may let it set its own cookies in your browser, under Google's privacy policy rather than this one. The map is set to load lazily, so it is not fetched until you scroll down to it, and it is the only thing on the page served from outside this site.

Two links also go elsewhere when you choose to click them. "Open in Maps" opens Google Maps, and the WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp. Both are then covered by Google's and Meta's own privacy policies rather than this one.

The three-dimensional tooth

One section of the home page shows a rotating model of a molar. It is drawn on your own device and nothing about it is sent anywhere. The model is not a photograph of anybody's tooth and it is not a scan: it was generated from a script written for this site, so it shows nobody's dental records and no patient information. It is drawn using three.js, a free open-source graphics library published under the MIT licence, and a copy of that library is served from this site rather than from anyone else's, so no third party learns that you visited this page. On a phone, a narrow window, a slow or data-saving connection, or if you have asked your device to reduce motion, none of it is downloaded at all and a still picture is shown instead.

Calling and messaging

The telephone numbers and the WhatsApp link on this site open your own phone or your own WhatsApp app. Anything you then say or type goes directly to the clinic, exactly as it would if you had dialled the number yourself. This website never sees it and never records it.

WhatsApp is run by Meta and handles those messages under its own terms and privacy policy, not ours.

Information you give the clinic

When you are treated, the clinic records the clinical information it needs in order to look after you properly, in the same way any dental practice does. That is kept at the clinic and is not published here.

If you would like to know what is held about you, or want it corrected, ask at the clinic or call +91 00000 00000.

Appointments

Treatment and cost

What a treatment involves and what it will cost is discussed with you before it is started, not after. If a plan changes once work is under way, the dentist will stop and explain before going further.

No prices are quoted on this website, because what is needed differs from person to person and quoting a figure here would be guesswork.

What this website is not

Nothing on these pages is dental advice for your particular mouth, and reading it does not create a patient relationship. A page cannot examine a tooth. If something hurts, call the clinic.

In a genuine emergency, or if there is swelling that is spreading, difficulty breathing or difficulty swallowing, treat it as a medical emergency and go to a hospital rather than waiting for a dental appointment.

Accuracy

The opening hours, address and list of treatments on this site are taken from the clinic's own signboard and its own published listing. If you spot something that has gone out of date, telling the clinic is genuinely useful.

Who runs this site

This website belongs to Quillfield Dental, 9 Juniper Row, Kolkata. It was built for the clinic at no charge. Questions about the site itself can go to the clinic on +91 00000 00000.

Governing law

Indian law applies, and the courts at Kolkata have jurisdiction.

A note on this page

This is written in plain English so that it can actually be read. It is not a substitute for advice from a lawyer, and if the clinic ever starts collecting personal information through the website itself, this page needs revisiting properly.
