Prescriptions
Prescription medicines are dispensed only against a valid prescription, as the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules require. If you send a photograph of a prescription over WhatsApp, it is used to prepare that order and nothing else.
Returns and refunds
Once medicine has left the counter it generally cannot be taken back or exchanged. That is standard practice at every pharmacy and it exists for your safety, not for the shop's convenience.
The exception is the shop's own mistake. If you are given the wrong item, a damaged pack, or something past its expiry date, bring it back and it will be put right at no cost to you.
Home delivery and sample collection
The shop collects blood samples only, and takes them to a registered laboratory in the neighbourhood. It does not carry out any test itself and does not hold your results: those come to you from the laboratory, and any question about a result is for them or for your doctor. Delivery of medicines and collection of a blood sample are both free within roughly one kilometre of the shop. There is no online payment on this website. You pay in person, either at the counter or to whoever brings the order to your door.
Delivery timing depends on how busy the counter is at that moment. If something is urgent, say so in your message and the shop will tell you honestly whether it can be managed.
The doctor's chamber
Dr. S. Mitra holds an independent chamber inside the shop on weekday afternoons and evenings. Her consultations are her own medical practice. Any advice, diagnosis or treatment is a matter between you and her, and the shop is not responsible for it. The shop provides the room.
She does not make home visits. Her sitting hours are listed on the home page and can change, so ring ahead before making a special trip.
What this website is not
Nothing here is medical advice, and nothing here should be used to decide what to take or what to stop taking. A website cannot examine anyone. Ask the pharmacist at the counter, ask the doctor, or ask whoever prescribed the medicine.
In an emergency, go to a hospital rather than waiting for the shop to open.
Accuracy
The address, the founding year, the phone number and the opening hours here come from the shop's own signboard and from the shop itself. Stock changes daily, so nothing on this page should be read as a promise that a particular medicine is on the shelf right now. Call and ask.
Who runs this site
This website belongs to Wrenfield Medical Stores, 41 Cedar Avenue, South Kolkata, Kolkata, trading since 2000. It was built for the shop at no charge. Anything about the site itself can go to the shop on +91 0000000000.
WhatsApp messages and your information
Messages, prescription photographs and phone numbers sent to the shop's WhatsApp number are used only to prepare what you asked for or to answer your question. They are not sold, shared or used for anything else.
This website itself sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and stores nothing you type into it. The box on the home page only opens WhatsApp with your message written out.
One thing worth being straight about. Opening that message works by handing your list to a WhatsApp web address, so the text you typed reaches WhatsApp's own servers at the moment the button is pressed, before you have sent anything to the shop. On a phone that usually goes straight into the WhatsApp app; on a computer it goes through WhatsApp's website first. It also means the list can appear in your browser history, which is worth knowing if you share the device. If you would rather none of that happened, telephone the shop instead on +91 0000000000.
The prescription photograph is different, and it genuinely does stay on your device until you send it. A photograph you pick is never uploaded to this website. On a phone, pressing the button hands it to your phone's own share sheet and you choose WhatsApp and the recipient there; on a computer it is not passed across at all, and you attach it in WhatsApp with the paperclip. Your typed list is also copied to your clipboard so you can paste it if the share sheet keeps the photograph but drops the text.
Once you press send in WhatsApp, the message goes to the shop and is handled by WhatsApp under Meta's own terms and privacy policy, not ours.
The page's typefaces are stored in this site's own folder and served from this address. They used to be loaded from Google Fonts, which meant Google's servers saw that a browser had requested them; that was changed on 30 August 2026 and no font provider is contacted now.
Discounts
The shop sells retail only and does not supply wholesale. Discounts of up to ten to fifteen percent off MRP are available on many medicines. The figure depends on the item and does not apply to everything, so ask at the counter for the item you need. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of a particular price.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute falls to the courts of West Bengal.
