Luxury silver‑plated gifts in South Kolkata
Some gifts get used up. Silver gets kept. Photo frames, puja pieces, serveware and keepsakes in lacquered silver plate.
The collections
No catalogue pictures, no stock photos. Every piece below was photographed in the shop's own cabinets, exactly as you would find it at the counter.
Photo frames & mirrors
Rose relief, butterflies, jewelled ovals and baroque mirrors, for the photographs that never come down.
Serveware & dry‑fruit sets
Urlis, engraved bowls, tiered stands and lidded barni jars for the table.
Puja & mandir pieces
Idol pairs, a gold-worked conch, diya stands and a Ganesh paan-leaf tray.
Candle stands & lamps
Lotus tealights, candle stands in pairs, and fringed table lamps.
Rose quartz & stone-mounted
The signature range: silver set on rose quartz, malachite and enamel.
Gifting by occasion
Wedding return gifts, corporate orders, Dhanteras and Bengali ceremonies.
Signature range
Silver on rose quartz
Across the shop's cabinets one detail keeps returning: polished silver plate set on real rose quartz, with malachite beads and green enamel alongside.
A quartz bird for a lid's handle. Gold flowers rising off a slab of raw pink stone. These are the pieces guests pick up, turn over and ask about, and we have not found another shop in this part of Kolkata doing anything like them.
One gift, or one hundred and one
Silver is what an event host gives: return gifts for a wedding, Diwali hampers for a team, a tray for a tattva. Bulk orders are taken with advance notice.
What the plate actually is
Every piece here is silver plated at 0.2 micron over solid brass, then sealed under lacquer. Understand what that means once, and no shiny 'silver' at any other counter will fool you again.
The lacquer is why these pieces do not blacken the way cheap plating does. The micron figure is why they cost less than sterling silver while looking like it. The difference is explained plainly, with the shop's own care instructions, on the care page.
Always clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid acid or any chemical. Do not polish, as polishing may remove the protective lacquer.
