Privacy and terms

What this site collects
Nothing. There is no contact form, no newsletter box, no account, no login and no checkout. You cannot type anything into this site, so there is nothing for it to receive.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. It stores nothing in your browser: no local storage, no session storage, no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting.
That is why there is no cookie banner asking you to accept or reject anything. A button to refuse a cookie that was never set would be theatre, not consent.
Analytics and advertising
There are none. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising tag, no heatmap, no session recording. Nobody is counting your visit.
Typefaces
The two typefaces on this site, EB Garamond and Manrope, are served from this site's own folder. Your browser makes no request to Google Fonts or to any other font provider, so no font company is told that you opened this page.
The one thing that does reach another company
The home page embeds a Google map so you can see where the shop is without leaving the page. Loading that map is a request to Google, and Google will see your IP address and may set its own cookies in the process. That is Google's doing, under Google's own privacy policy, and it is the only third party this site contacts.
If you would rather not load it, the address is written out in plain text on the same page and in the footer of every page.
Links out
Links to Instagram, to Google Maps and telephone links take you to services this site does not control. What those services do with your visit is governed by their own policies.
Accuracy, and how to correct something
Every factual statement on this site was taken from what Chandanbari itself publishes: its Instagram account, its Facebook page and its Google Business listing, all read on 30 August 2026. Nothing has been invented, and where a fact is not published, this site says so rather than filling the gap. Opening hours are the clearest example: only a closing time is published anywhere, so no opening hours are stated and none are marked up for search engines.
Stock changes, prices are not published here, and a detail can go out of date. If anything on this site is wrong, telephone the shop on +91 00000 00000 and it will be corrected.
Accessibility
This site is built to WCAG 2.1 level AA, which is also the substance of IS 17802, the Indian digital accessibility standard that sits under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016. Colour contrast is measured rather than guessed, everything works from the keyboard, every image has a description, and all movement stops if your device asks for reduced motion. If something on this site is hard for you to use, please say so on the phone number above.
Who publishes this site
The site is published for Chandanbari, a clothing shop at 7 Magnolia Road, the park, Kolkata. It is an informational page. Nothing can be bought through it, and no order placed here would reach anyone. Buying happens at the shop or over the telephone.

The photographs on this site are Chandanbari' own, taken from its own Instagram and Facebook posts. The descriptions of what the shop sells are Chandanbari' own words. Please do not reproduce either without asking the shop.
