Fernbrook

One at a time. Every coat, every whisker.

Wrenhollow is Mara, and Mara has been grooming dogs and cats for over twenty years. All breeds, by appointment rather than walk‑in.

20+

Years grooming dogs and cats. In her own words: “With over 20 years’ experience as a dog and cat groomer I provide pet grooming to all breeds.”

Both halves of the name

Dogs and cats. Not dogs, and cats if we must.

The two lists below are illustration, not a price list or a menu. Wrenhollow publishes no service list anywhere, so nothing has been invented on her behalf — this is where her own words would go.

Dogs

All breeds, from a puppy’s first tidy‑up to a full clip on a coat that has got away from you.

  • Bath, blow‑dry and brush out
  • Clipping and scissor finish
  • Nails, ears and tidy‑ups between grooms

Cats

The other half of the name, and taken by choice. A cat is booked in on its own, like everything else here.

  • Long‑haired breeds and matted coats
  • Bath, dry and de‑shed
  • Nails and a gentle tidy‑up
“I will love your pet like my own.”
Mara, in her own words

Some of the regulars

Every one of these has been on the table.

Brushed out and pleased about it.
A freshly groomed grey schnoodle in a purple bandana, against a white background.
Fresh clip, purple bandana.
A tabby cat wearing a pink bow, lying in the sun on a ledge in front of a painted mural of dogs.
The boss, in her pink bow.
A tricolour collie in a blue bandana with a Birthday Boy badge.
Birthday boy.
Two fluffy kittens on a grooming table, one looking up and one eating.
Very small clients.

How it goes

Three steps, and none of them are rushed.

  • 1

    Ring and book

Tell Mara what you have, what its coat is like, and how it usually copes. That is what decides how long to set aside.

  • 2

    Come at your time

By appointment rather than walk‑in, which means the time you are given is yours.

  • 3

    Go home clean

And book the next one before the coat gets ahead of you again.

Fernbrook and around

Give Mara a ring.

Appointments only, which is the whole point. A phone number and a Facebook page are the two ways she publishes.
