About
Silicon Insights is a web design studio in Kolkata, led by Susarathi Bose.
The studio designs, builds and looks after websites for independent businesses and professionals, and helps them appear on Google and in the answers AI assistants give. Every site is built by hand, on a plain-English agreement, from accounts that belong to the client.
How we work
Six habits, none of them negotiable.
The same hands, start to finish
We design the site, build it, photograph the premises where that helps, set up the hosting and the Google accounts, and look after it afterwards. There is no account manager and no handover between departments. The people you write to are the people who built it.
Everything in writing
Every client gets a signed agreement in plain English before any paid work starts. It lists every service, the rate for each, what we do and do not do, what you provide, and who owns what. A price, a timeline or a promise binds only when it is written there.
Your accounts, your name
Sites are published from hosting accounts and domains that belong to the client. The Google Business Profile and Search Console live in the client’s own Google account. We are a member who can be removed at any time. We never hold a domain and we never ask for a password.
Nothing tracking anyone
By default a site we build sets no cookies of its own, carries no analytics and has no form. Contact goes through phone, WhatsApp and email links that open on the visitor’s own device. This site is built the same way, and its privacy page is short because there is little to say.
Built by hand, checked by hand
The sites are fast static pages with no server to break and no framework unless one is genuinely needed. We use AI tools to help write code and text, and a person checks everything before it reaches a client. We keep our own building blocks and reuse them across projects; each client owns their own content and their finished site.
Factual, especially where the law cares
Dental clinics, pharmacies and food businesses are limited in what they may say in public. A site we build for them describes the business, its goods or services, its hours and its address in the business’s own words, and makes no claim the business cannot stand behind.
The games
The same hands make Android games.
Client work is not the only thing we ship. We design and build Android games too, start to finish. Nothing is handed off. Each game sets its own terms, and we publish them here in that game’s own words.
