Clinics and diagnostic centres

Websites for clinics and diagnostic centres in Kolkata.

Most people arrive at a clinic website already anxious and already on a phone. They want four things: are you open, where are you, can I call you, and are you real. A site that answers those quickly beats a beautiful one that does not.

A clinic website has one job on a phone: let a worried person find your hours, your address and your number in about five seconds, and trust what they read. Everything else is secondary. In India it also has to stay inside advertising rules that most website sellers have never read.

The brief

What a clinic site actually needs.

01

Hours and address above everything

Not in the footer. Not behind a menu. The first screen on a phone. A person deciding whether to come in this evening should not have to scroll, and if the hours differ on a Sunday, say so there rather than making them guess.

02

A number that dials when tapped

A phone number typed as text is a phone number nobody rings. It should be a link that opens the dialler, and it should be the same number on your Google listing, because a mismatch is one of the quiet reasons a listing stops showing up.

03

Doctors named, with their real qualifications

Names, degrees, registration where you have it. This is the single biggest difference between a clinic site people trust and one they leave. It is also what an AI assistant reads when someone asks it to suggest a clinic nearby.

04

Claims that stay inside the rules

Indian advertising rules limit what a clinic may promise, and the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act is stricter than most people expect. No cure claims, no guarantees, no before-and-after photographs used as proof. We write to that line rather than discovering it after a complaint.

05

Nothing that leaks a patient

No enquiry form collecting symptoms. No testimonial naming a condition. No photograph with a face in the waiting room. The safest patient data is the data you never collected, and it costs nothing to design that way from the start.

06

Fast on a cheap phone on mobile data

Your visitor is not on office wifi. They are outside, on a two-year-old Android, on a patchy signal. Every page we build is measured on that, not on a laptop, because the laptop always looks fine.

Built, not promised

Open one and scroll it.

  • Quillfield Dental — A complete dental clinic site: treatments, the team, hours, and a 3D molar that turns as you scroll. Open it and scroll it.
  • Wrenfield Medical Stores — The neighbouring problem, solved the same way: a medical store with stock categories and a clear counter.

These are concept sites: complete, real designs carrying a fictional business name and no real address, phone number or customer. They are ours to show. Work built for actual clients is not named here, because nobody has agreed to be named yet.

Questions

Questions people ask

Can you put patient reviews on my clinic website?

Real reviews, yes, with the patient’s written permission and no mention of their condition. Anything that identifies someone by their illness is a problem even when they agreed to it. What works better is your Google reviews, which sit on Google rather than on your site and which a visitor already trusts more.

Do I need a booking system?

Usually not, and it is the thing clinics most often pay for and least often use. Most people in Kolkata would rather ring you or send a WhatsApp message than fill a form and wait. We would rather make the number impossible to miss and spend the money on the pages that actually get read. If you genuinely need bookings, it is quoted as its own item.

Why does my clinic not show up on Google Maps?

Almost always the Google Business Profile rather than the website. An unverified listing, a wrong category, an empty services list or a phone number that does not match your site will all keep you out of the map results. We set that up properly as part of the work, and the whole process is written out free on our Business Profile guide if you would rather do it yourself.

Tell us the business and we will tell you what it needs.

No form, on purpose. We work in English, Bengali and Hindi, and we will say plainly if something you are asking for would not earn its cost.
