These are the terms for using siliconinsights.co and watch.siliconinsights.co, the companion site that holds our videos. They apply to both, and below, “this site” means whichever of the two you are reading. By reading either site you accept them; they are short and there is nothing hidden in them.
Who we are
Silicon Insights is the trading name of Susarathi Bose, a sole proprietor in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, who designs, builds and looks after websites for businesses and independent professionals, and helps them appear on Google. Contact: hello@siliconinsights.co.
What this site is for
This site describes what we do, shows examples of our work, and gives you a way to get in touch. Nothing on it is an offer that becomes a contract by itself. A price, a timeline or a promise becomes binding only when it is written into a signed agreement between us — every client gets one, in plain English, before any paid work starts.
Concept sites are fictional
The “Work” section includes concept sites: complete websites built to show what a business of a given kind can have. Each concept carries a fictional business name and no real address, phone number, owner, staff or customer. Any resemblance to a real business is not intended, and a concept site is not an endorsement by, or an affiliation with, any real business. Where a real client’s site is shown by name, it is shown with that client’s written permission and links to the client’s own live website.
No guarantees about results
We build websites with care and to current good practice. We do not promise search rankings, visitor numbers, customers, sales or income — nobody honest can. Decisions made by Google, hosting companies, domain registrars and other third parties are theirs, not ours.
How we work, said plainly
- We use AI tools to help write code and text, and we check everything before it reaches a client.
- Client websites are published from hosting accounts and domains that belong to the client, not to us. We never hold a client’s domain.
- We keep ownership of our own building blocks — layouts, code patterns, colour systems, techniques — and reuse them across projects. Each client owns their own content and their finished site under their agreement with us.
This site’s content
The text, design and code of this site belong to Susarathi Bose. Photographs, logos and names of real clients belong to those clients and appear with their permission. You may link to any page of this site. You may not copy the site, its design or its code for your own use, or present any part of it as yours.
Videos and links
Videos on this site are hosted by YouTube and play under YouTube’s terms. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we do not control those sites and are not responsible for what is on them.
Limits of our responsibility for this site
This site is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it accurate and online, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or always available, and we are not responsible for any loss that comes from relying on it. This does not limit any responsibility the law does not allow us to limit. Our responsibilities to clients are set out in their signed agreements, not here.
Law and disputes
Indian law applies to this site and these terms. If there is ever a dispute about this site, the courts at Kolkata alone have jurisdiction. We would rather talk first: write to hello@siliconinsights.co.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
