Privacy
Last updated 7 September 2026. Plain English on purpose.
This is the privacy page for siliconinsights.co and for watch.siliconinsights.co, the companion site that holds our videos. Both are run by Silicon Insights — the web-design studio of Susarathi Bose, a sole proprietor based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Everything on this page is true of both, and below, “this site” means whichever of the two you are reading. It tells you what these sites do and do not do with information about you. The short version: they collect nothing.
What this website collects
Nothing. There is no account, no newsletter box, no contact form, no shopping basket and no comments. The site sets no cookies of its own, stores nothing in your browser, and carries no analytics script, tracking pixel or advertising code. Typefaces are served from this site’s own folder, so no font provider learns that you visited.
The one thing we cannot avoid: the hosting company’s logs
This website is served by a hosting company (currently Netlify). Like every web host, it may keep short-lived technical logs — the address your device connects from, the page requested, the time — to run and protect the service. Those logs are the hosting company’s, kept under its own privacy policy, and we do not use them to identify visitors.
Videos and other embedded content
Some pages show videos from our YouTube channel. They are played by YouTube, which is run by Google. When a video loads or you press play, Google may see your device’s address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy rather than this one. Where the page allows it, videos are embedded in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, which limits this until you press play.
Links to our social-media pages (YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads) take you to those companies’ sites, which are covered by their own policies.
When you contact us
The only way to reach us from this site is by email (hello@siliconinsights.co) or WhatsApp, both of which open on your own device. What you send arrives in our email (run by Zoho Mail) or in WhatsApp (run by Meta), under those companies’ terms. We use what you send us only to reply to you and, if you become a client, to do the work you ask for. We do not add you to any list, and we do not share your details with anyone else. Enquiry emails from people who do not become clients are deleted within twelve months.
Concept sites and client work shown on this site
The “Work” section shows websites we have built. Some are shown as concept sites: real designs with a fictional business name and no real address, phone number, owner or customer details. Any personal information that appeared on an original client site has been removed before it is shown here. Where a real client’s site is shown by name, it is shown with that client’s written permission.
Your rights
Because this website holds no information about you, there is nothing for us to show, correct or delete from the site itself. If you have emailed us and want that email deleted, or want to know what we hold, write to hello@siliconinsights.co and we will do it within 30 days. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 as its provisions come into force.
Children
This site is a business site for adults running or starting a business. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and there is no way to submit information here in any case.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not send notices, because we hold no addresses to send them to.
