Privacy policy for Boond Boond: Pin Puzzle Game
Published by Silicon Insights. This policy covers the Android game Boond Boond: Pin Puzzle Game (co.siliconinsights.boondboond) and nothing else. Last changed: 19 September 2026.
In short: no sign-in, no purchases, and nothing about you leaves the phone because of Boond Boond itself. Google’s ads software is the one part that sends data; its paragraph is below.
Kept on the phone, in one file:
- stars for each level, motis and honours (motis pay for the Water-diviner, Lime plaster and Take back)
- sound, music and vibration choices
- days in a row with a full pot, the last such date, and your run of pots filled without a loss
- the date and time of the last daily gift
- tries started and pots filled
- for ad timing: a count and the time of the last advert
Adverts:
- by choice: after a lost pot, an advert can take the last pull back, offered only when the level can still be won from there; short of motis, an advert can pay for the Water-diviner; after a filled pot, you may stop the water gauge on 2x, 3x or 5x, then choose an advert for that many times the motis
- automatically: sometimes between levels, after a pot fills and before its result; at most once per three finished tries (a full pot, a lost pot, or a restart after a pull); not until five pots are filled; never within four minutes of another full-screen advert
- a small banner: on some levels, a small banner advert sits in its own strip at the bottom of the screen for that level
- with no internet, none load and play goes on
Google’s ads software in the app (the GMA Next-Gen SDK) collects and shares, according to Google: the device’s IP address (which may be used to estimate its general location), taps, app launches and video views, performance and diagnostic information, the Android advertising ID and app set ID, and, if applicable, other identifiers of accounts signed in on the phone. Google says it uses this data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, and that it is encrypted in transit. Where the law requires it, Google’s consent message asks you before any ad is requested, and Ad privacy choices then appears in Settings so you can change your answer. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in your phone’s settings. How Google uses and keeps this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Permissions Android grants the app:
- internet, network state and the advertising ID (listed twice): used by Google’s ads software
- basic phone state: added by Google’s ads software
- wake lock and a foreground service: added by Android’s WorkManager library for Google’s ads software
- vibrate: for pulls and full pots; the Vibration switch turns it off
- one internal permission so parts of the app can signal each other Not requested: contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera, location.
Age: Boond Boond is made for players 13 and over. The adverts are picked by Google.
Clearing: Clear all progress (Settings) removes stars, motis, honours, days in a row, the run of pots and the gift date; it keeps your three choices and the counts ad timing uses, so clearing never brings adverts sooner. Uninstalling removes the file. Neither removes what Google’s ads software has already collected; see Google’s page above.
