Privacy policy for Gali Jam: Desi Brain Puzzle
Published by Silicon Insights. This policy covers the Android game Gali Jam: Desi Brain Puzzle (co.siliconinsights.galijam) and nothing else. Last changed: 19 September 2026.
What stays on this phone. A single file holds your game: the stars and annas you have earned, your badges, the sound, music and buzz switches, your run of market days with the date of your last cleared lane and of your last morning bonus, how many lanes you have started and got a cart out of, and, for the ad rule below, a count and the time of the last ad. It is never copied off the phone: Gali Jam has no account, no in-app purchases, and sends none of it anywhere.
When ads appear. Only if you choose: when a lane jams you may watch an ad for extra moves; once a lane’s free take-back is spent you may watch one for more take-backs; short of annas, you may watch one for Show the way; and after a cart gets out you may stop a moving meter on 2x to 5x, then choose to watch one for that many times the annas the lane gave. Without asking: now and then an ad fills the break between levels, after a cart gets out and before its stars show. That happens at most once for every three counted moments (a cart out, a jam, and a restart after moving each count one), not until you have got a cart out five times, and never within four minutes of another full-screen ad. On some lanes a small banner ad also sits in its own strip at the bottom of the screen, for as long as you play that lane. With no internet the ads cannot load, and the game carries on without them.
Google’s ads software in the app (the GMA Next-Gen SDK) collects and shares, according to Google: the device’s IP address (which may be used to estimate its general location), taps, app launches and video views, performance and diagnostic information, the Android advertising ID and app set ID, and, if applicable, other identifiers of accounts signed in on the phone. Google says it uses this data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, and that it is encrypted in transit. Where the law requires it, Google’s consent message asks you before any ad is requested, and Ad privacy choices then appears in Settings so you can change your answer. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in your phone’s settings. How Google uses and keeps this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
What Android lets the game do. Go online and check the network, and read the advertising ID (Android lists that one twice): Google’s ads software needs these. See basic phone state: Google’s ads software adds this. Keep the phone awake and run a foreground service: Android’s WorkManager library adds these for Google’s ads software. Buzz the phone as pieces knock, which the Buzz switch turns off. One more permission is internal to the app itself. Gali Jam never asks for your contacts, photos, files or location.
Younger players. The bazaars, carts and sounds in Gali Jam are gentle enough for anyone, but Google, not the game, picks which ads are shown.
Removing your data. Start over, in Settings, wipes your stars, annas, badges, market-day run and bonus date. It leaves the three switches, and it leaves the counts the ad rule reads (lanes started, carts out, the ad count and the time of the last ad), so starting over never changes when ads may appear. Uninstalling Gali Jam removes the file. Neither reaches data Google’s ads software has already collected; Google’s page, named above, says what happens to that.
