Privacy policy for Pourwala: Indian Water Sort
Published by Silicon Insights. This policy covers the Android game Pourwala: Indian Water Sort (co.siliconinsights.sort) and nothing else. Last changed: 19 September 2026.
Pourwala keeps your progress in a file on this phone only: stars, cowries, your Collection and Jadoo, achievements, settings, your streak and the days it counts, how many levels you have started and cleared, your best run of filled vessels, the day you last took the daily reward, and the count and the time of the last ad that the automatic ad uses. The game has no account, sends none of your progress anywhere, and has no in-app purchases.
Ads. After being stuck you can choose to watch an ad for an extra vessel, and once the free undo is used, you can watch an ad for three more undos. On the results after a level, you can watch an ad to double the cowries it gave. Sometimes an ad plays as a break between levels, after a level is cleared and before its results: at most once in every three levels (being stuck, or restarting a level you have poured in, counts as one), never before you have cleared five levels, and never within four minutes of another full-screen ad. On some levels a small banner ad sits in its own strip at the bottom of the screen for that level. Ads need an internet connection to load; without one the game plays on with no new ads.
Google’s ads software in the app (the GMA Next-Gen SDK) collects and shares, according to Google: the device’s IP address (which may be used to estimate its general location), taps, app launches and video views, performance and diagnostic information, the Android advertising ID and app set ID, and, if applicable, other identifiers of accounts signed in on the phone. Google says it uses this data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, and that it is encrypted in transit. Where the law requires it, Google’s consent message asks you before any ad is requested, and Ad privacy choices then appears in Settings so you can change your answer. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in your phone’s settings. How Google uses and keeps this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Permissions, as Android lists them for this game: internet and network state, and the advertising ID (listed twice), which Google’s ads software needs; basic phone state, which Google’s ads software adds; wake lock and foreground service, which Android’s WorkManager library adds for Google’s ads software; one internal permission the app keeps to itself; and vibration, to let you feel pours (Settings can turn it off). The game asks for no contacts, photos, location or files.
Children. The pictures, words and sounds in Pourwala are made to suit all ages, but the ads are chosen by Google, not by the game.
Deleting your data. Reset progress in Settings deletes your stars, cowries, Collection, Jadoo, achievements and streak; it keeps your settings, and it keeps the attempt count, the clear count, the ad count and the time of the last ad so that the ad rule above stays the same. Uninstalling the game deletes the file. Reset does not touch anything Google’s ads software has already collected; the Google page above explains how that is handled.
